Today marks 1 000 days since the start of Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine in February 2022. However, the war began much earlier: it has now been 3 925 days since 2014, when Ukraine’s territorial integrity was first violated.

Despite immense challenges and a more powerful adversary, the Ukrainian people continue to resist, defending their freedom, independence, and dignity. This is the struggle of a nation protecting its homes, families, and its right to live freely.

This fight is not Ukraine’s alone.

It concerns everyone who believes in the rule of law, justice, and human rights. Today, Ukraine needs strong and sustained international support. Every act of solidarity contributes to the defense of these shared values in the face of aggression.
