22.09.2025
Carpathians, Ukraine
Twenty children from the Sumy region have been welcomed to the Carpathians for a 10-day psychological rehabilitation programme.
This initiative is dedicated to the city of Sumy and its region, and the children involved are from villages and small towns located 20--30 km from the front line.
The programme aims:
- torestore a sense of safety,
- provide opportunities to play, laugh, and learn
- offer structured psychological support through workshops, outdoor activities and small-group work.
The participants, aged 7 to 16, have been directly affected by the war; some have lost a parent or are orphans.
Since the start of the large-scale aggression, 120 children have already benefited from these rehabilitation stays.
Support Action Ukraine (SAU) would like to thank all the individuals and partners who have made this project possible.
